I’m going with Tucker on points. He was more than durable enough to go the distance and had reasonably superior boxing skills to the much more crude Max Baer. Tony’s one draw back was that he often non aggressive and fought on the safe side. But I think he could maintain enough activity to stay ahead of Max on the cards
Tucker might have the stylistic edge. He is arguably also somebody, who should have been a brief lineal champion! He was denied twice!
Well as Max died before Tony was born, I'm not surprised. That has to have given Tony a sizeable stylistic advantage.
Baer outclasses and destroys Tucker. All Tucker is capable of doing is making Baer angry. Tucker gets stopped in the tenth by ref stopping the fight or his trainers throwing in the towell. I think this would be a great therapy fight for Baer.
