Tua certainly wins this. Not only are his fundamentals better but he's more physical too

Both points are wrong, and possibly irrelevant as well.

Baer is a stiff plodder that will be open for Tua all night. Foreman is levels above him, framing off of opponents or shoving them out of range. Compared to Baers defense, Foreman was Floyd Mayweather, it's insane. Foreman legit had much better head movement. He had a far better jab and could cut off the ring with precision. Baer clinched and punched lots with Louis, Tua avoided that and slipped out of clinches to unload short combinations on the inside and Baer with journeymen defense would be open for it. Tua would quite literally blitz Baer and lay him out.

LMFAO. For Christ sake, how long are you going to keep trotting out this utter BS? Your understanding of this sport is one of the most simplistic and wrongheaded I've ever encountered in someone who isn't trying to consciously troll. You aren't doing that, are you?

I can see Tua catching Baer against the ropes, Baer stands straight up and starts winging away with wild uppercuts thrown from the hip with his chin totally exposed, Tua explodes out of the crouch with a left and knocks Baer unconscious on his feet, then follows up with several more shots that crumple Baer to the canvas.

I can see Baer spoiling at range though and Tua kind of shutting down like he normally does. For that reason I'm not going to go for a first round KO or anything like that. Tua will KO him, but it might take some time for him to get warmed up.

Actually a very interesting matchup. The weight thing means zero. Baer destroyed men much larger then he. Men much more technical then Tua to. But this match is intriguing because of Tuas decent stamina and chin. At his best like the guy who beat Schmeling prob takes Tua via decision. Can’t see either getting knocked out

However much you try to justify the differences, and find subtle things that Foreman did better, the bottom line is still the same.

They fought with more or less exactly the same style, and had the same strengths and weaknesses.

However much this truth might offend some people, it is still the truth.
George Foreman was wide open, and Joe Frazier had much better defense than he did.

    Where did that get him?

    Precisely nowhere.

    The same applies here.

Tua is going to have to walk through Baer's punches to get in range.

When Tua gets close, Baer will either push him back, or simply back up.

While Tua had a great chin, he was not impossible to discourage.

Once her realizes that he is going to have to take four punches to land one, his attack will lose its momentum.

Even if he get's through there is simply no way that he is blitzing Baer, because Baer has an all time chin, and Tua is simply not that good!

Baer didn't have slow feet though. Of course he wouldn't try to outbox Tua but reach advantage matters in brawls as well.
