He wasn't friends with Louis and made some racist remarks before their fight.Immediately after being stopped he said into the mike ,"there were just too many black clouds for this little white cloud to go through".

 

Film suggests to me he did.

What world class fighters did Tua ice? Ruiz was a better actor than he was a boxer, Rahman was an illegal knockout and Mooorer was past his best though i admit it as an impressive KO.

 

If Baer had to beat Ibeabuchi, Lewis and Byrd to win a title he wouldn't have either.

Tua beat Ruiz, Maskaev, Rahman, Oquendo and Moorer who are all objectively good fighters.

I know things are going downhill when people are citing Baer beating a "SHW Lineal" Champ, as if that champ wasn't Primo, but it was Primo, and that just doesn't do it for me.

Baer > Tua imo

It would be an incredible matchup though, I think most of us agree to that.

 

Those are kind of pitty pat punches though. Tua was able to throw fast with mean intentions on every shot.

I agree it'd be a fun matchup though, for however long it lasts.
