Where do you guys see Wilders legacy if he were to defeat Fury and Joshua?
    Big if, but just curious.

I haven't even begun to think about his legacy yet. He's done very little so far (in the top 10 scheme of things) and it is all ahead of him legacy wise tbh. If he comes out on top of the current bunch and then defends for a good deal of time i will start to gather some thoughts. This is light years away tho Rez.

Fury and Joshua haven't exactly done amazing things. Both beat an end of career Wlad and now we are waiting to see what they do next. If Wilder beat Fury and Joshua back to back right now it doesn't get him that far at all. Certainly not close to the top 10.

At no point yet has he been known as the number 1 man at Heavyweight has he?

    No yet, no.

If he beat them both, defended against Povetkin and Ortiz and then retired, what do you think?

I mean this is all wild speculation, just having fun with the discussion.
For all we know, there could be a Wilder vs. AJ Trilogy. Many things can happen!

*Looks around to make sure Seamus isn't nearby*
It's a really great time for the division. I'm super excited to see how everything unfolds.

I'd be impressed if he beat Joshua, Fury, Povetkin, and Ortiz. I agree with you, Wilder could go a long way. I think there is a big "upside" for Wilder. He started boxing late, his first training came in Alabama, a place not known for boxing. He probably lacked good sparring and he didn't look well schooled, but he still medaled at the Olympics. Now he has Breland training him, and good sparring so he might be still improving. He has the gifts of speed and power, if his boxing catches up, the sky might be the limit.

I'd like to see a few more defenses prior to the projected retirement Rez. I'd like to see him on top of the division for a decent length of time.

If he beat both he would only then be considered top dog. So after finally climbing to the top he'd have just two fights and be gone. He'd be say lineal for 2 or 3 fights.

So beat those two, defend a decent amount of times over some years against deserving guys and leave on top. He'd be in the mix then that's for sure.

I'm far from sold on him, but he has the potential (as do AJ and Fury) to come out on top of the division.

He would be the best American heavyweight champion since the last century.

Daniel Dubois is creeping up on both of them.

That could be a future tussle for one or both of them.

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't. Max could take a shot, and I think he would KO Wilder.

Also, Max would not be afraid of Wilders Costume
