    thanks i love to jack around on this board asking the most weird matchups and ridiculas one i can think up. to me its great fun. i love the responses especially the ones from knowledgeable boxing enthusiasts

    But Max had a better right hand than Roy Williams.
    Max after losing 8 straight rounds, KO's an exhausted Earnie in Round 9.

    :nonosometimes you slip up though and put somethimg up like "the best left hooker"
    usually its a george foreman v george raft type of match-up which we all appreciate:good

    Baer would win due to his superior chin. This would be a fight filled primarily with overhand-right haymakers. Fun to watch.

    Max would give Earnie the same treatment Quarry did, only more so. Baer ko1 or maybe 2. Baer had a great set of whiskers and I'm sure he would have kept the clowning down to a minimum in realizing the threat he had in front of him in Shavers.
