Max Baer vs Evander Holyfield

Baer might have a chance if Holyfield can be suckered into a slugfest. If Holy boxes like he should, he wins a wide UD and makes it look easy.

 

I agree with bcs8. Baer would beat evander in a toe to toe slugfest but evanders got way better technical skills and would beat Baer by u.d.

 

Probably would look alot like when foreman fought evander

 

Holyfield for me. Baer ma have a moment or two but Evander's too good.

Baer would quit after tasting Holyfield's accurate combinations to the body and head

 

With ease, but when they fought foreman was still great but an old man. If the foreman that fought frazier, chuvalo or norton fought evander then holyfield would have been abliterated

 

Holy has too much quickness and too good a chin for the rare times Baer would hit him before it is all over. KO7.

 

Holyfield would be too fast and too good but if the best Baer showed up he'd be dangerous for a fighter that did not know how to box when he got hit .. would be entertaining if Baer came to fight ..

 

Holyfield would have beaten Baer no matter which way they fought.

 

Holyfield is probably one of the worse potential matches for Baer.

He would be able to counter him effectively, and Baer's power would not bail him out.

 

But not enough for Braddock. Amazing the things I learn around here.
