    I think you have to factor in that he was taking the punches from Max Baer.

    Baer is the kind of puncher that you simply cant swap like for like punches with.

    Coincidentally, this fight is being shown today on ESPN Classic (for those of you who have ESPN Classic) at 2pm eastern standard time. It's followed by Louis - Schemling I.
