Max Baer vs Ray Mercer

I fancy that Mercer might just be all wrong for Baer.

 

Two sometimes apathetic boxers. I'd give Mercer the edge as his jab was much better.

 

Battle of the strongmen. Prime Mercer had a impenetrable chin. In a fight
similar to Mercer vs Cooper a battered swollen Mercer overcomes some
hellacious bombs to decision Baer on points.

 

This would turn into slugfest. I think Baer is underrated and might very well win this.

 

Definitely a slugfest, it would turn in to another mercer v Cooper fight. Max would be ripping in the punches in tu mercers face with a manic grin on his face while mercer would be in close to his opponents body. A great crowd pleasing fight. It goes to the judge s. I see a split Dec for baer.
