Max Baer vs Vitali Klitchsko

No vitali wide points decision. Possibly late stoppage

 

This one might have been problematic for him.

Normally when Baer hit somebody enough, they stayed hit, however big they were.

This guy might not have played ball on that count!

Sometimes the greater fighter loses based on styles!

 

I would like to preface this by saying I agree with almost every post you make and regard your comments as some of the most well thought out and written on classic

Vitali isn't just stylistically wrong for Baer, he's both the superior fighter in general and accomplished more as a fighter

 

Vitali chops him down bit by bit until somebody throws a bloodstained towel into the ring. Klitschko was not easy to hit even by particularly fast and accurate punchers (eg Sanders) and he could physically take an artillery bombardment and keep ticking along. Add to that the fact that Baer was much smaller and less skilled than Vitali, and you have the makings of a car wreck.

 

I’m gonna give this one to Max...I think it gets crazy lol. I think Max has better stamina and takes control after the 6. Fight gets stopped real late for some Vitali ailment leaving Max the winner. Vitali is susceptible to a good straight right and Max has an exceptional straight right.

 

I have made a note before that in all these fantasy matchups where Vitali beats the other guy like a hippie's tambourine that there will always be at least one poster that assumes Klitschko's face randomly falls off to give the obvious loser a miracle win. Yet again, I am not disappointed.

Also, Baer's straight punches were not good. If you have previously unreleased footage you may want to release it. Baer threw looping punches, body punches and big swinging overhands.

Vitali is the better fighter when it comes to skills and technique ,,,so why I do I hesitate to pick Vitali? Something nags me about Vitali in this fight.

 

Too big, too handsome? I know, bugs me too

 

Probably be a good fight both would take a lot of punishment.I rate Bear highly hth unlike many though.

As for the winner I pick Vitali but Bears huge power is a game changer.
