So? A fight is 12 rounds. Winning 4 rounds means nothing in a fight he lost by stoppage. . Bear would certainly drop rounds and may even be behind at the time he stops Vitali.

 

Kevin Johnson fought just to see the final bell. He never had a hope of beating Vitali and he knew it.

He might beat Baer though.

Adamek was a multiple division champion who was fast. He never had a hope of beating Vitali.

Adamek might beat Baer, though.

Donald was a dancing, agile fighter. Vitali systematically broke him down and by the end of the fight he was flatfooted and KO'd for the first time in his career. He was never going to beat Vitali.

Donald would probably beat Baer, though.

Gomez was a 6 foot 3 cruiserweight champion with a reach of 81 inches and a record of 55-4 with 40 KO's. His KO % is better than Baer's. He's got wins over guys like McCall, Cole, Delic and Vyrchys. He got KO'd by Vitali, whom he never had a hope of beating.

He might beat Baer though.

A bear might well run through those guys better than Vitali.

Baer, however, managed to lose against Jack McCarthy (2-3), Johnny Risko (60-37-8), little Jimmy Braddock (49-25-7) and let's not forget Willie Davies (12-13-2). Adamek, Johnson, Donald and Gomez would make mincemeat out of those four. Vitali would very likely KO them all on the same night.

So now according to Dino, Lewis = Baer.

He says if Lewis can stop Vitali so can Baer, but he'll ignore the fact that Max Baer lost many more times than Vitali did and did so to boxers well below the level of Lennox Lewis.

So if 13 other boxers could defeat Baer, lots of others could. I'd list some names but they would mean nothing to him.

It really doesn't matter, no one else besides Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum is picking Baer.
