Wlad was almost knocked out and had to run from cement boots Peter in 2005.

That only proved how bad he is , not how good he is.

Peter didn't win a 5 second stretch against both Vitali and Hilenius who shut him out never needing to use a single clinch.

Wlad then had to foul his way to victory in the rematch.

It astounds me how little Wladimir knows about the basics
Olympic champion, 70 pro fights, professional world titles ... and still he's completely clueless about infighting.

At least Carnera developed his uppercut.

    See this Seamus??

Boxing basics 101. Create some space/ step back if you want to let them go on the inside.

He wants to hold and uppercut at the same time and that's why he took his own punch instead of giving it to Jennings.

    quick annalysis.

fury has better self punch, but stronger chin than wlad.
wlad has weaker self punch but bad enough to ko his weak chin.

so fight annalysis - could go either way

Bear had next to no jab, limited defense, and a questionable appetite for boxing. Okay, he had a good right hand, but that was it.

Wlad would tee off on him, a bit more methodical than Joe Louis, but he's land as easily as Joe Louis did.

Wlad is a masterful clinch****er, perhaps on a level the sport hasn't seen in the modern era.

He should be able to easily work Baer, or maybe even stop him at some point. But if Baer hurts Wlad, I see Max stopping it.

Max Baer (Carnera Baer, not Braddock Baer) has a very good chance of knocking out pre-Steward Wlad.
But globally, looking at their entire careers, I think that out of 10 fights, Wlad would win at least 8.
