MAX BAER - What an absolute LEGEND.

It's Hollywood. What do you expect?

 

I actually liked the movie for the boxing.... They did a good job in the boxing scenes i thought.

 

I thought despite the inaccurate portrayal of Baer it was a damn good movie. :good

 

If Baer was around today he'd get the 2-2-2 like he never got it before during his day; hit too fast, too hard and too frequent. When I watch him fight in old videos, I don't see the two handed skills a modern fighter has to have in order to rich the upper levels of any division, I just see a guy looking for an opportunity to land a right hand and his footwork looks like something I see in my kid's tae kwon do class.
