Max Baer's Potential

I don’t think anyone sees him as a monster, do they? The average Joe has never heard of Max Baer (even in America), & those who have are familiar enough with Boxing to probably know enough about him to understand otherwise.

Around twenty years ago there was that Ron Howard hit job (Cinderella Man) that portrayed Baer as a despicable person, but since that movie never gained traction in the public conscience, I don’t know that Baer has any kind of reputation as something he clearly wasn’t.

Personally I see him as Robin Williams, had he been a Boxer.
