    Most likely Walcott wins a wide UD. But there is always a possibility that Baer, hopelessly behind in the fight, catches him like Marciano did.

    I tend to agree with this. Though if I had to bet, I'd probably take Wlacott, but Baer defintiely has a better chance than being given by the majority here.

    I like Walcott by a wide decision but I don't think you can count out Baer's power when he was in top condition but Max could be outboxed and Walcott was as tricky and slick as they come

    Walcott unless he gets too cutesy and screws it up for himself... but he has done that more than once though. He just can't get overconfident.

    i like Teds point about Baer being 'too stupid' to fall for the feints

    that couldbe Walcotss cryponite as Marciano ignored some of them and although he was getting outboxed he KOd Walcott

    With Baer on the attack, it would not be an easy fight for Walcott, in my opinion. If I had to bet, I would probably bet on Walcott...but I wouldn't bet much.

    A properly motivated Baer was a scary thing to behold!
