    Mortgaging future big matchups at 145 just to save a main event that probably won't do huge numbers anyway just isn't worth it. Just my 2 cents.

    UFC needs more superfights like this imo. More champion Vs champion matchups.

    Had Holloway taken care of Ortega and had a full camp + build up this would be a super fight.... This is an injured lower weight champion taking a fight against a much bigger and well prepared and elite fighter on short notice. Not a good look for the UFC.

    Why are you more excited to see a mismatch? Holloway isn't even in shape, the guy wanted it to be contested at WW because he's way over his match-fit fighting weight.

    I love watching Holloway fight, I'm excited to see Khabib get his shot finally, I love the attitude of Max here, what's not to love about this fight?

    I don't expect anyone to change he their minds here, I'm just saying for me this is a better fight than the original and it's one I'm pretty excited about.

    I do think UFC should have more multiple weight fighters and I love the attitude of Holloway and Ortega offering themselves forward.

    I get the fear of Max having the prime beaten out of him but it's a risk/reward thing isn't it, if he wins this fight he's a top ten ATG. If he loses then he's just a FW out of his division.

    Maybe it would make more sense having the number 3&4 LW guys on the same card so one can move up to the main event and that probably could be the way forward but regardless of what one or two people are saying I'm absolutely buzzing for this fight.

    I've made up my mind. This fight sucks and the conclusion is final and impossible to challenge.

    This is 1 of the better cards of the year on paper plenty of good matches including the undercard, I think Iaquinta vs Felder should be 1 of the fights of the night.

    I had heard about Max struggling with his weight cut couple days ago but Khabib is also apparently having some issues, with what happened today I wouldn't be suprised that khabibs focuses has shifted a little off of Max which I hope may be enough for him to cause the big upset.
