Max Kellerman and Brian Kenny both had Hopkins winning

    I know that Max is not exactly adored and respected here on ESB (don't know what is said about Kenny) and I personally scored a close fight in favor of Joe Calzaghe but both Kellerman and Kenny scored the fight in favor of Bernard Hopkins.

    Gotta agree. I originally though it was much, much closer. Beer and anxiety are a bad mix at 3 in the morning.

    I was in a state and frustrated by Hopkins staying that yard out of range.

    As soon as Calzaghe got the distance right it was comfortable but ugly.

    He racked up those rounds though. Hopkins had no plan B

    The fact that it was in Vegas gave me doubts about the scoring so I knew it would be close but I was in no doubt who won.
    Next morning, sober, I watched it once again and realised how there was no way in hell that Hopkins could have stole it.

    ive watched several times and had hopkins taking several of the early rounds and calzaghe taking the middle rounds to pull it back closer but hopkins took 10 and 11 for me which sealed it for him
