I'm surprised, he seemed to acknowledge after the fight (like any other person in his right mind) that Calzaghe won.

or, at least not let on that he thought Hopkins won.

How can ANYONE have Hopkins winning when all he did was pose, hold & land a punch here & there? This **** is madness and it's getting out of hand.

    For the less informed:

If a boxer's glove comes in contact with the opposing fighter in the head or body it's scored as A LANDED PUNCH whether or not it was HARD ENOUGH in some fans' opinions is less important unless that punch knocks a fighter down or out. Otherwise jabs would not count at all.

Extra credit is also usually given for the aggressor for making the fight & dictating the pace of the fight, clearly Joe did both throughout the fight.

Maybe his point was the press is cozy with Hopkins. Hopkins sells here, not Calzaghe.

Please corrent me if I am wrong but didn't Kellerman do the scoring for HBO on Saturday night?

In which case, HBO had it 116-111 for Joe.

I could be wrong about Kellerman doing the scoring but I know that HBO had Joe winning.

I can't check as I erased it from the DVR..entertaining fight, but not a keeper

Herald Lederman is HBO's official unofficial scorer, if that makes sense. I don't remember Kellerman announcing a score, but he did insist that it was a close fight (I disagreed).
