I understand what you are saying and you have some valid points about Marquez popularity. It takes that one fighter to make you special. SRL didn't fight Pryor. Some say he ducked him and I could care less. Top Rank didn't let Marquez fight Morales who knows why. Also Hamed people let it be known that he didn't want the two to fight. He is a special fighter, but only true fans might be able to place him in his right place in history

Hamed never wanted Marquez, just TOTALLY and I know well about it, pretty much the way he wanted no part of Mayweather as well.

To answer your questions. I scored the fight a draw in their first fight and scored the second fight for Pacquiao by one point. But as I've always said time and time again, in which alot of the JMM fanboys continually ignore, those 2 fights are SO CLOSE that the it could've gone either way.

To answer you next question. Yes I do think JMM will be remembered greatly in the next 10-20 years. Your assuming that he might not be regarded like that because of the losses he has on paper. In effect, your basically assuming that the people 10-20 years from now are total idiots and would only analyze how great a fighter is based on their losses on paper. That's not going to happen selfkill, just like how it's not happening now when we are analyzing great fighters of the past. Do you see alot of people saying that Roberto Duran sucks simply because everytime he steps up in competition he almost always loses? No. Because we, the people of today, are smart enough to not only look at records but also look at footages, articles, circumstances of a fight and what he's done throughout his entire career to not be fooled by his losses. The people of 10-20 years will be doing the same thing on JMM, and they will see how great and special a fighter he really is. That's basically how's it gonna be.

Having said that, I think the reason why psychopath and benny are bit stingy about this thread of yours is because no matter how truly genuine you are in making this thread, there's ALWAYS gonna be a bunch of nuthuggers who will come into threads like this and ruin it by simply claiming that Pac was given a gift or that he didn't deserve to win in both fights and how JMM dominated Pac in both fights. Pac vs Marquez is a really sensitive subject right now and I think it will always remain that way for a long time. Let me ask you this, if those nuthuggers(both on JMM and Pac's sides) come in here and start spewing all the bull**** I've said above, are you gonna be prepared to atleast inform them of their misguided notions and keep this thread a neutral one?

Yes I remember Floyd calling out Hamed after the Coralles fight. Merchant asked about a fight with Stevie Johnson and Floyd being the smart man he is wanted the money and better name on his legacy. But a fight with either would have been good to see.

You know well about Marquez and Pac? PM me please

Marquez and Pac?, you mean Marquez and Floyd?

Well what I know exactly is from various people who I really would rather not mention that Hamed his self claimed he would give up his title but not fight Marquez if that fight ever comes close to happening. That never became popular enough yet the popularity of that down under is what pushed Merchant to openly tell Floyd that Hamed would never ever think about fighting him when he was called out after that fight.

Makes alot of sense to me, but you want to know what people in Floyds camp told me about Margo? They told me he will lose, it's not his entourage, but his management team. Believe me or not I even tried to tell them Floyd would win. This happen the night of Hop vs Joe at a Jay-z concert.

    Oh wow, really?
I will believe you 100% here but why did they think he will lose?, anything specific mentioned or it was just a quick conversation?. I mean I know Oscar is old but they weren't nervous enough he will lose to Oscar in a new weight division with all the advantages Oscar demanded in the contract but they were nervous he will lose to Margarito?, even though I completely believe you because I trust your word but what do you think about that?

Nah your cool. You thought JMM won but also recognized that it was a very close fight. I'm talking about the JMM nuthuggers who keep on insisting that their boy JMM 'schooled' Pac and come up with ridiculous scorecards like 11-2, 9-3, 8-4 and stuff like that.

Wow. Smooch. Are you serious about the PBF thing?
OUt of all the top champions i always thought PBF should fight Margarito since he had the biggest hype and seemed like a perfect style for PBF.
I got alot of respect for Margarito now but i still see him losing to PBF.

What exactly did PBFs team say???
