Kellerman has improved over the years. In the past, he was very anti-Eastern European, but I think its mostly gone now. He has some points. Sure he favors the urban cited American fighter a bit too much, but his bias could be confused with style. He's a big fan Lomachenko and hasn't said anything really stupid for a while. Some guys just like defense and countering more than most. Ward has that, and he's an urban city American. Perhaps the only active very good USA fighter at light heavy, cruiser or heavy...
Or maybe he just thinks Ward won. So many lame attempts on here by people trying to shoehorn their own racist agenda onto others by projecting their bigotry onto those with whom they disagree.
Max has a "Hard-on" 4 Lomachenko like I've never seen/heard ever!!! Just wait & see this Sat. It will make any other love affair between a commentator and a boxer pale in comparison.
Kellerman's dad was a psychiatrist in NYC and Max had his current outlook long before Butler killed his brother. Basically Kellerman is a more connected version of Shockmaster. Also; do not hold your breath on him losing his HBO gig. Dig a bit behind the scenes, looking into who hired him and their mutual connections.
The Ward being half white thing is what has confused me as far as the race card pullers from both sides! Lol I mean really who cares but... His dad is white correct? So how the f**k did all the white against black stuff spawn from this fight?! Lol
slavery has been around since the dawn of man. every race has perpetrated it and been victimized. the czar only freed the serfs five years before lincoln freed the slaves. there was white slavery in the new world, they called it indentured servitude. the romans held people of every race as slaves. black tribesmen in africa caught enemies and sold them into slavery. time you educate yourself a bit.
I think you aren't quite right. I sometimes feel Max Kellerman has extreme white guilt, but other times like the other night with Ward, I think it was a case of "Oh I commentate with this guy sometimes, he is my friend and I'd like him to win." But it does seem like some level of white guilt too. Not sure what it is, cause he did the same thing with Calzaghe Jones, he was really biased towards Jones. But he also commentates along side Roy Jones, so I'm not sure if he is racist against whites or he just likes people he commentates with more.
