I'm so pumped for this fight...Hopefully, Steward will teach him to clinch this time..Cotto needs to add that to his gameplan...He needs to swallow his pride about clinching because that was he downfall in their first fight.

 

Cotto best be gettn' his revenge....remember in 08 when we all wanted to see the battle of undefeateds.....I'd still like to see Floyd v Cotto

 

I'm sure Max is exagerating the **** out of it. It will be disappointing eventually. :hat However, I hope I'm wrong.

nothing happened... just an intense staredown... i do hope cotto retires margarito.

 

Cotto's done nothing to show me he can keep Margo off him. Margo by stoppage, earlier this time.

 

I've seen Margarito conduct spanish interviews and he has a blunt way to speak truths people (especially his opponents) would prefer not to here.

I'm certain here that what happened is that either Cotto or Kellerman raised the issue of Margarito's hand wraps up, and if Cotto tried to use that issue as a crutch, I'm certain Margarito reminded Cotto in detail, the systematic way he broke him down and made him quit.

I can just imagine Margarito saying to Cotto something to the effect, "when you feel my strenghth and punching power in our initial exchanges, you're going become a mentally broke down fighter on the spot, realizing you're feeling the same effect you did in our first fight......and let me tell you, I'm going to bring it even worse."


I cant for the life of me see Cotto winning a war of words with Margarito in these sitdown faceoffs.
Margarito I suspect will mentally chop down Cotto before they ever get inside the ring.

 

:happy:happy:happy I don't think this fight can possobly be described any better.

 

There is only one way, ONE WAY I see Cotto winning this and it worked wonders for Shane and Manny. Cotto was great at it too, but he started employing that stick and move style that worked on Mosley, but not on Margo.

 

Any word on when it airs? Or the Pac JMM one?

This would make a good 24/7. gotta be better than the same crap they put on over and over again every time Floyd or Manny fights

 

It's a shame that Cotto was never the same after fighting Margarito the first time, mentally and physically. Hopefully this fight will put him on the road to redemption. Cotto already knows that Margs blocks with his face and he's been called "The mummy" for a reason. Hopefully Cotto comes up with a better gameplan, Emanuel Stewart will come up with a good gameplan for him. If Cotto implements it is another story.
