Its not a good gameplan if your fighter is'nt capable of seeing it through.

Nazim Richardson copied JMM's gameplan vs Pacquiao and outlined it for Shane Mosley to follow against Pacquiao.

In practice, the gameplan to move laterally and counter has been proven to be ultra effective against Pacquiao.
......but you ask and hand that gameplan over to a fighter thats incapable of implementing. It ceases to be a good gameplan and becomes a lousy one.

If Emmanuel Steward hands over a gameplan Cotto is incapable of implementing and following......its called Steward being ineffective as a trainer.

I'll tell you this much. The gameplan Pacquiao used against Margarito Cotto is not capable of implementing because it requires a certain measure of physical stamina and conditioning that Miguel Cotto has'nt come within sniffing distance of ever being at.

If Emmanuel Steward hands over a grab and hold type of strategy that worked for Shane Mosley against Margarito and Cotto is able to see it through, we can credit Steward for it.


If your fighter is incapable of implementing a strategy, then you've handed him the wrong one.

Don't know exactly what he's referring to as I never saw it, but this fight is indeed high stakes. The winner will still be regarded as top tier competition, the loser will be written off as finished.

As I said Pacquiao's last six opponents have been cherry picked for being either old, recently defeated or Mayweathers left over. Ortiz passes the Pacman opponent criteria.

That sounds interesting. I have a feeling that this face off might be a little more intense than usual given their history.

These face offs are one of the best things HBO has done recently.

I just want Cotto to fight for 12 rounds like he fought for six rounds last time around. people forget what a serious damn beating he was handing margo.

and after the disgrace of the handwraps it would be the most deserving beatdown in years.

and afterwards, margo should fcuk off and never show his face again.

My take. Pac put a severe beating on Margo. It SHOULD have been career ending but I guess Margo suffered too much brain damage to realize it and his handlers want more money out of him.

Cotto has a real trainer now and IF the surgery fixed his shoulder, this one won't even be close.
