He was already candidat for the goat 10 years ago. Nothing past that really disminish that. Being GOAT goes beyond skills, abilities, record or even the sport. For the excitement he brought to the game, all the dream matchup and incedibles odds he faced. His name belongs with the likes of Ray Robinson, Ali and Joe Louis.

Mayweather was for all of his talents, a toxic champion. His legacy is bringing down boxing in the gutters, boxing always had troubles with corruption. But his name stands along with the networks and the heavyweights borefest as a cause of boxing's downfall. He never gave the matchups people wanted at the time they should have happened if at all. Long periods of inactivity even in champ standards. And went 12 round with a 0-0 boxer. He got rich out of killing the sport.

Mayweather didn't duck. Pac ducked the needle! Freddie Roach has admitted that.

LMFAO!!! Broner has been a joke for years that's not a good win. Thurman isn't the best WW Spence bodies him and so does Crawford. Just stop! You will say anything to be heard. Pac couldn't even beat JMM clearly and got KTFO by him yet he's the GOAT? A GOAT doesn't need that many fights to beat JMM clearly. A GOAT also doesn't lose to a faded EM they dominate a faded EM. They dominate a guy like Horn who Crawford thoroughly thrashed. A GOAT doesn't get schooled by his rival like the way Pac was by PBF when they fought. Lastly and more importantly if PBF had Pac's record 62-7-2 and his exact resume and lost to Pac in a one-sided fight and Pac had PBF"s record 50-0-0 and his exact resume. No way in hell would you say PBF was the GOAT, you're full of **** if you say you would. You would in fact say Pac was with PBF's record was but you'd be wrong there as well.

Margo is trash and a disgraced cheat PBF wouldn't lose one round to him and you know it. BTW Cotto wasn't shot when PBF fought him. PBF fought him at a weight he's never looked great at. Pac ducked PBF because of testing blame Pac. With that said when they fought PBF dominated him and Pac is still fighting and wining today.

WTF are you talking about here? You sound drunk. PBF brought alot of attention to the sport and has the biggest PPV numbers off all time. Too bad the numbers don't agree with you. 12 round with a 0-0 boxer???? Log off.

Did you not read my post jackass? I said if PBF had the exact same resume and record 62-7-2 as Pac meaning if he started at the same weight as Pac. You wouldn't call PBF the GOAT you'd bring up all his loses getting stopped by a no-hoper losing to a faded EM never beating JMM clearly and getting KTFO by him losing to Bradley, getting schooled by Pac and losing to a cherry pick gone wrong in Horn. You would declare Pac as superior if he had PBF's 50-0-0 record and resume and so would all the others here. You can stop with that bull**** now. Pac is more liked than PBF so people are willing to give him the benifit of the doubt which is wrong.

I can see your point. I'd argue that Pac's matchmaking isn't typical of modern fighters given his level of competition and sheer volume of high level fights. Thus, it's unfair to give older fighters like, for example, Duran, that much more leeway for a loss than Manny's getting from some on here. To take the Duran example a step further: The Pac who got KO'd by Marquez was older than the Duran who nearly got decapitated by Tommy. Pac had been a championship fighter for 14 years at that point. Duran was a championship fighter for 12. I know JMM isn't Hearns, but a HOF puncher is a HOF puncher nonetheless.

Modern fighters are already at a disadvantage compared to the old timers because the environment doesn't allow for many historical accomplishments to be repeated; the fact that Manny can still accomplish unique things in today's environment earns him the benefit of the doubt from me.

Read back 20 years on theses boards. 90% of the posts about Floyd are about him not fighting. For a decade it was Pac, prior to that there was Margaritto and others. And in the sideshow fights he decided to take, he would do the minimum to win rounds. 50-0, so what. Castilo beat is courage away in the fisrt fight.
