'Round _ Pacquiao won decisively. There is no way you could give that round to Bradley.' Repeat ad nasueam. Even with Kellerman's opinion in play Bradley won, or at least drew, round 9 and won 10, 11 and 12 and (and 1 and 2)- Pacquiao did not win round 9. What the **** is he on about 11 and 12 were indecisive? My arse!
the thing everyone is failing to mention is bias in all of this. whether ur a pac fan...or a floyd fan...everyone and their momma wanted to see pac/floyd. bradley ruined that for everyone. bradley beating pac goes against all the experts opinions about pac being p4p #1 or even p4p #2. 'who the hell is bradley? he's not even top ten and he "ducked" amir khan! there's no way he beat the best fighter in the world....blah,blah,blah...' doesn't matter what anyone thinks....the judges gave it to bradley. pac lost. get over it.
i know what i saw and i don't even feel the need to be convinced of something different. pac won that fight.
I think the problem is, that Pac did not lose. No one should get over it, it is happening way too frequently now. Boxing fans are not a bunch of sheep
I agree here. When you fighting the champion you have to do more, or judge the round even. Anyways, Max is right... 11-1 - 7-5, I personally could only give Bradley 4 rounds. But honestly though, JMM vs Pac 3, I could only give pac like 4 rounds honestly. This is how the fight game works these days. bs.
Pacquiao won rounds 3,4,5,6,7 and 9 decisively. Round 8 was close. If you were looking to give Bradley the win and had been paid off you could give him a draw but NOT win. It's just not possible. gave Pacquiao 1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, and 11 the first time round. Second time with no sound and looking to give the fight for Bradley, I scored rounds 1,3,4,5,6,7 and 9 for Pacquiao and gave Bradley rounds 2,8,10,11 and 12. That was trying hard. Personally I think Pacquiao won the 11th quite easily but I can see how someone would give it to Bradley so a reasonable score without HBO bias is 116-112 or 115-113 Pacquiao if Bradley was your lover and you gave him every close round. I don't see how a judge can give every close round to Bradley though unless they were looking to give him the fight. Even so Pacquiao undoubtedly won 3,4,5,6,7 and 9 in a blindingly obvious fashion so even if you had an IQ of 45 you could only score Bradley a draw. Something is not right with these judges.
I watched it again Bradley Rds 1,2,10 & 11 Pacquaio Rds, 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 & 12 112 Bradley 116 Pacquaio Rd 7 is a close round but I give it to Pacquaio, I'm not a pac fan & I reckon he loses a rematch,
This is definitely the wrong attitude. If the watching boxing world thinks that Manny was definitely robbed, and ontop of that even the guy who was given the decision appeared not to be believe he won or atleast (after the fight)was uncertain and indecisive as to the score then there is shouldn't be a 'getting over it'. Strike while the iron. If there can be something done about this, then let it be done.
Max also thinks Pac-JMM 3 was a draw. I'm not saying he's an idiot; I just take his opinions with a grain of salt. Not everything he spouts is irrefutable. Depending on how you view it, it can either be a complete domination for Pac (11-1) -OR- Bradley barely takes 7 rounds and squeaks out a win. Five or six rounds are unarguably close and could have gone either way. If you gave them to Pac, fine. No problem. If you gave them to Tim, you aren't wrong or dumb. Most people think Pac won. Majority rules, I guess. One thing we can all agree on: bring on the rematch.
Its interesting, I think he's spot on that competent scores could have been 11-1 pac to 7-5 pac, the 7-5 pac is what one judge had. It would be interesting to see a tape of the fight from the other judges perspectives, I'm not sure if there is film of their views, I think we all watched it where the cameras always are and our views are being flipped around from here to there, but live you don't get that, you get one straight on view, each judge at a different side of the ring then are main camera view on tv, those are the tapes I'd like to see if they exist, a straight on view from the judges point of view that scored it 7-5 Bradley, to see what they saw exactly. I doubt it would change a damn thing, but it would be interesting to see what they were seeing, "exactly".
