What a fight it would've been though. I'd go with "El Terrible" my fav fighter of all time.

I wouldn't say Morales ducked Marquez, more like he picked the better options the fans wanted at the time.

There's no excuse for the Prince though.

Morales has been in there with the best of them. He doesnt duck anyone and he never will. He is a legend and thats the end of the story. Im ending this post here. No need for any further comments

I guess you've been ignoring Morales calling out JMM and getting turned down each time.

Bull****. Before the Pac rematch finally took place JMM turned down career-high paydays from Hamed, Morales, and Pac in order to fight the Norwood, Chris Johns of the world for meaningless titles.

No excuse for offering the unknown JMM a career-high payday? Nacho said he rejected it b/c he "was too tired from negotiating."

    :deal

Marquez blew it at 126 by losing to Norwood and turning down the Prince.

Morales was never really an option with Marquez being the Mandatory for the WBO belt.

Cant say he ducked him cause i dont know what went on behind the scenes.

What i know is that would have been a hell of a fight and that its a shame it never happened.

It would close the circle on the Fab Four II (Pac,MAB,JMM,EM) cause its the only fight between those four that didnt happened.

 People act like JMM was some fearsome beast that people were scared shitless of. Nacho pre-Pac rematch had a clear plan for JMM- avoid the best, rack up title belts, and it blew up on him time and time again.

After Pac-rematch Nacho finally took off the reigns and JMM has shined. Hamed won every belt in the division and fought some of the best from 122 as well. He offered one of the top contenders $400k to fight and he said no opting instead to try and win an easier title against Norwood, similar to when Morales offered JMM a career high payday, over 7 figures, and he said no.

Maybe it could be for the FACT that JMM was Hamed's mandotory for more than 2 years and was being avoided like the plauge. :deal
