for THIS fight his commentary was at least bearable. For past fights i have hated his opinions and comments interjected on the fights. Also- in the MalignaggiDiaz fight, he flipflopped at the end to make it seem as though he was aware of a bad decision whereas during the entire fight he was commenting completely opposite to that! Like come on! Stand by your views!

 

I think the worst part of Kellerman is that he comes off as a baby back ***** ... after seeing him panic like a little girl in the heated ring I can't take him seriously anymore. Big boxing fights come once in a while. If you couldn't do a simple job the first time I don't think you should come back and risk ****ing up another interview.

i must be one of the very few who think kellerman always does a good job. i like him on hbo

 

Good on him for admitting, he does ok as long s he doesnt try to be the high-pitched oracle guy, personally I think Sean O'Grady is way better at interviewing.

 

It's fashionable to hate the guy. A lot of people here hate Merchant. I think Merchant is the GOAT when it comes to post fight interviews.

As much as I cant stand the man Larry Merchant would have been perfect for that interview ..

 

Accountable is rare. Perhaps Max can get better.

 

To be honest I didn't find anything wrong with what he did. Mayweather was being an idiot, not answering any boxing related questions, it was more like watching a commercial. That annoyed me, I wanted to hear his thoughts on the fight. I was already losing interest in the interview before Kellerman did anything.

Overall, I'm not a great fan of his work that is for sure. Good to see him own up to his mistakes though.
