If Mayweather had failed the post-fight drug test of such a high profile fight, and USADA would have tried to cover it up, there would have been a huge scandal because investigative journalists like Hauser that already exposed Mayweather's dubious testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio in 2013 would have been all over that. Bottom line, Mayweather needed to flush his system and he did it just like Lance Armstrong.

Nobody injects themselves with **** ton of corticoids for “superhuman suppression of inflammation” in order to train harder. Corticoids are actually catabolic. They also make one more prone to central adiposity. They lower protein synthesis. All of these being counter productive to a training athlete.

The only reason to take them is for an acute injury such as shoulder slap tear that PAC had and was cleared for.
