babality, who is the gorgeous creature in your avatar.
i say cut the kid, kellerman some slack. he had his questions. i for one liked seing floyd immediately taken down a peg or at least made to look at this victory in propper perspective. after all he essentially got away with violating his contract by weighing over 144.
that said shane mosely was the real instigater there. wether he was playing a part and it was pre-aranged or not. if kellerman wasn't in on it, he was staying true to what he felt was his duty to interview the winner.
lastly, i know mosely wants to ride his win over margarito to a payday. but look at that. margarito was a cheater whose status was gained by cheating. take away margarito's win against cotto. that was not a ligitimate win. if you count it youre sorry and you probably bet on floyd to stop marquez too, suckers.
what do you have left then? you have that cotto beat mosely. staight up, mosely needs to let mayweather fight the winner of pac vs cotto.

I'm sure the execs at HBO are pissed at ol' Kermit the Frog. I really liked what was going on and it WAS entertaining. Kellermans voice has been different since Jim Henson died...

This proves what Floyd said about HBO is true, they are a bunch of racist. Do you think Max would of disrespected Pac, De La Hoya, or anything other hispanic or asian boxer? I think not, Floyd started his career at lightweight so Floyd is naturally a small man too but lets keep bringing up how Marquez was smaller. De La Hoya made a living off fighter guys smaller than himself and losing to every half way decent white or black fighter he fought yet people still worship De La Hoya

I loved what Floyd said to Max. I think Max is the weak link of the HBO commentators. Manny S. is The Man in my book, and he knows how to work with fighters. Kellerman tries to make himself out to be just as big as the fighters, and that's not the case.
Howard Cosell ws a god because he let the fighters shine in their interview and didn't try to control them. Max needs to know where his bread is buttered and show humility. He just ruined a shining, compelling moment on the night.

Merchant was an opinionated old drunk, but he was the man. Max will never be as good as him. Larry would have let the brawl happen.

I said the same exact thing. Larry would have kept it real. "Jim, Jim":rofl dude sounded like a straight up hoe when he said that. Mayweather punked the **** out of him, "Let me do the talkin cause you talk too much"

Yeah Max was a douche. Fair enough trying to ask PBF about the weight issue, but it's not like PBF is ever going to say what Max wanted him to say. As if any fighter is going to admit he had no intention of making a catchweight anyway... why press it further? You're only going to **** the fighter off and get no where doing it...

Anyway, someone needs to fire that little schmuck. He's just a douche who's there for his own agenda and doesn't let the boxers talk. I would rather listen to Bill Clinton play the saxophone at the end of a fight than Max interview another boxer.

    1) The fighter has the right to thank his sponsors. That has been the customary norm for the winner, unless the winner goes on for more than 2 minutes, then the commentator can interrupt. He interrupted FMJ after the first few seconds already.

    2) He made the SSM butting in incident looks bad. It was fine, FMJ welcomes SSM butting in and have a bit of exchange of words - the usual media / fans build-up. But Max made it look like there's a HUGE commotion.

    3) He was trying to force his way to get an answer the fighter obviously doesn't want to answer with the manner on how he started the question, something like: "The selection of a lighter fighter Marquez". Heck, he's even trying to trick FMJ in that question, by saying "Manny Pacquiao" first just to get his cooperation, but actually asked something else.

    4) He ordered the interview to cut-off when FMJ wants to say something the sport fans might be intereseted in.

I mean, what a SPASTIC *******! He's trying "CONTROL" the spotlight.

Look how the post-press conference turned out. It turned out OK without him, and everyone else is there.

HBO! Learn something from this. Next time, don't put Kellerman there. Put Larry Merchant or someone else.
