Fun thing is that this is an Uwe Boll film with Maske as Schmeling, Joan Pablo Hernandez as Louis plus Abraham, Licina and Wegner. Should be interesting.

Max was one of the nicest Champs of all time, when Joe Louis was down and out Max sent him money.

I can't help but hold out hope for this movie. Boll is a terrible filmmaker, but there have been fleeting glimpses of potential in some of his later movies. If he could put it all together in the right doses, he could pull off a good film. I certainly hope this is the case, as Schmeling's story is one of the best in all of boxing.

I'm a HUGE fan of Max. I can't wait to see this. I hope they will show the story when he saved a number of Jews and his post Joe Louis fight when he headed Coca Cola operations in Germany.

Schmeling was a pallbearer at Louis' funeral. He also help Joe's family by giving them some money.

Amazing person.
