Max Schmeling vs Carl Williams

Schmeling did stop Louis, so not out of the question he could stop Williams. But regardless, it would be a good fight.

 

Anything about Williams, to suggest that he would beat Schmeling?

Was his career all that great?

 

Tall, fundamental fighter with somewhat of a good punch and skills

DEFINITELY can be stopped.

 

I was a monster fan of Carl Williams I definitely thought he was going to be better than he turned out he had a great Jab...he had the tools.

 

His chin wasn't top tier, especially since he tended to get left hooked

 

Do you old timer picking guys ever compare the tale of tape???? And if you say but they were better fighters then I ask do you ever watch film and compare speed and technique??? If you did there would be no way you would consider fights like this.

 

Sorry but if your a student of the game and study the tale of the tape and watch film of the fighters to see their technique and speed you would never consider a matchup like this.
Schmeling is inferior physically in every way. So you say but he’s a much more skilled fighter. Really have you watched video of the two? If you have you would know that’s not the case.
