Max Schmeling vs. Floyd Patterson

Patterson via decision he'll beat Schmeling to the punch every time.

 

That might not be a good thing if Schmeling is looking to counter you with a right hand.

Patterson would have to fight verry smart here because Schmeling knows how to counter with a right and knows how to slam you hard coming in.

While Schmelings right hand is not as dangerous as Johansens it is still prety dangerous.

If I were in Pattersons corner I would have concearns.

Your chin 'sucks' when you go down for the count. Eras comparisons aside, was Max's right hand more powerful than Ingo's Bingo? No. Sonny Liston?? Gimme a break.

The Smell by late tko, but not until being made to look a slow fool for most of te fight.

 

This is a fight that either wins on the right night. Maybe Schmeling via SD is my guess. He floors Patterson somewhere along the way which gives him more rounds on the score cards

 

Schmeling could pull what Johannson did, but that's far from guaranteed. I do think Schmeling was a better fighter than Johannson
