Sure, I'm just saying that fighters 10-15 lbs bigger than him weren't that much of a problem for Schmeling. Don't forget that Sharkey was a natural 200 lbs who was clearly bigger and stronger than Schmeling, not to mention that he actually could box really well. 215-220 lbs is probably too much for Schmeling, but guys around 200-205 lbs? No problem.

I wouldn’t pick him to beat Ezzard Charles. That’s for sure. I doubt he beats Witherspoon either unless Tim shows up half in the bag. Gerry Cooney would be a hard fight given the huge size advantage he would have and hard punching power. max didn’t have that great of a chin. Frank Bruno wasn’t a great fighter by any means but he was big, in shape, had plenty of power and generally only folded against men who had the ability to brutally maul him . Even then those said fighters usually got a good effort out of him... As for the rest I think it’s a mixed bag of wins and losses for Schmeling.

P4P and in terms of resume? Sure.
His resume at HW isn't better though and h2h it wouldn't be easy night for any of them.
