At about the 39 minute mark of that video, Bob Arum says that what Max Kellerman says is totally incorrect. He says that if Wilder exercises the rematch option, Fury is contractually bound to agree to it as the next fight and it will be in either Vegas, California or New York.
I don't know about that. NY has some fruity rules that nobody else seems to have. I'm still not sure exactly what they were playing at in Wilder Ortiz 1 with that timeout and the doctor. That was ridiculous.
Some boxer had died the year before in NY, so they made some rule requiring a doctor to check out a fighter before they go back out if he took a lot of punishment the previous round.
