Apparently Matchroom have made an offer to Golden Boy for this outside in Yorkshire this summer. Personally, I would love this to happen.

Absolutely zero chance I’m afraid. Golden Boy won’t let Garcia fight on a Matchroom show especially in the UK.

I like Maxi Hughes and hopes he gets a big fight, but he gets brutally knocked out by Garcia.

Great promotion, put his name next to somebody known when it's never going to happen, make it seem like a duck.

That idiot Stefy Bull plastering pictures of Donny’s football ground all over social media next to the Hearn quote. Give me strength.

Maxi is having an Indian summer buy hasn't even been headlining his own shows. He ain't headlining an Outdoor show no matter who the opponent is. He could get a big fight but it will be in the US much like McKinson.

This just shows Hearn couldn’t care less about his boxers. Garcia is explosive and would probably retire him.

Hughes' last opponent was Ryan Walsh (a featherweight who is nearly 36).
The Garcia fight sounds hard to believe but Hearn's brilliant relationship with De La Hoya could swing it

Maxi is aware of his level. Believe he has a shot against Ryan and is looking to set his family up for life. Hearn is providing massive opportunities for his fighters. The belts are all tied up for the next year.
What fight makes the most sense for Maxi? A fight against garcia nets him 5/10x any other fight in the division

Would easily do it with the right card. You’d be surprised how many tickets a card with Hughes, Dave Allen, Terri Harper, dalton smith, kid Galahad, bridges. With the right pricing they could structure that card.

Maxi is a likeable bloke but come on, Garcia would end him.

You would have to have Garcia as a favourite to spark Maxi but if the payment justifies the risk at the end of the day it’s prizefighting .

Ryan Walsh was a massive opportunity?
Floyd or Jake Paul are nearly as likely as Ryan Garcia in Doncaster.

Wonder if there's a direct flight from California to Donny Airport for Garcia.
