They just keep coming. Russian Olympian, Muslim Gadzhimagomedov just made his pro debut a victorious one with a 2nd round stoppage of a very out of shape opponent. The oppo was scheduled to be Deibis Berrocal. It might have have been Berrocal but, if so, he gained a lot of weight (Fat)

    Round 1

Vlasov is jabbing casually up off the front hip into the forehead of Valera. Very light and easygoing pace from both men, each carrying his gloves low. Valera starts to raise his as he tires of getting the upper bridge of his nose continuously pinched with jabs. Valera lobs some slow soft jabs of his own to get his sense of distance down and study Vlasov's reactions, and puts in a light uppercut on the chest which Vlasov doesn't even bother blocking, just ignores it. Vlasov is crossing his arms over his belly to prevent Valera from scoring body shots, which are his only effective connections so far (a sneaky lean-aside left hook stuffed into Vlasov's flank now and then). Otherwise it's head shot city, with Vlasov not terribly accurate with his jabs and straight flurries but more than his opponent. Very much a light-spar type of opener.

    10-9 Vlasov

    Round 1 10-9 Vlasov

An active first round for both fighters but very few meaningful punches landed.

It literally was supposed to be, originally:

Well, originally it was going to be on the undercard of Murat Gassiev vs. Andriy Rudenko, but when that was scrapped a few of the bouts were spun out to a separate card (this one) and the main event of them was meant to be Agrba vs. Petrov ...but that was a few weeks ago. I guess somewhere along the line they decided to put Batyrgaziev atop the marquee instead, probably since he is a Gold medalist and the bigger hype magnet than Agrba (despite being in the less compelling match-up).

    Round 1 - 10-9 Vlasov
    Round 2 - 10-8 Vlasov

    Vlasov 20-17

Valera took a knee but I couldn't tell you why since my stream was showing the cornerman when the punch landed.

Not the sharpest The Kill performance I've seen, but he's firmly in control just on activity, showing his conditioning to be superior throwing punches in bunches with little to no let-up. Dropped the Dominican in round two - not hard, but the writing is on the wall. Mangu likely won't last another eight.

    10-8 Vlasov

    20-17 Vlasov
