Manzanilla has on his name knock down vs Ray Vargas, knocked out Julio Ceja(who had a draw vs #2 Brandon Figueroa), That's a very good, dominant win for the olympian gold medalist Batyrgaziev in his 5th pro fight.In amateurs he was also learning pretty fast, just months after coming to that sport(from kickboxing) he earned a win over olympic bronze medalist Vladimir Nikitin, less then a year experience in the sport and such a big win! Couple years later and he's already olympic gold medalist, that's pretty fast learning, extraordinary talent.With that temp of progressing it would be interesting how good he will be after another 2, 3 years, or even after 3, 4 fights more.

 

Manzanilla does have power and is awkward...but he isn't very tough or skillful.

 

Yes, he's not champion, he is just taking down guys who can be the same level as #2, or knocking out others from top 30.He's not a joke.While there's no doubt in Vargas win over him, he had some struggles with him(not only when being down) in their 12 rounds fight, didn't see the same with AL BA.For me such a dominant win in his 5th fight against that opponent is impressive, didn't expect to be so easy for him.
