Saw this one coming to be honest - Ellis out in 4. Joel Casey continued his good run of form winning the State Title; he just needs to stay away from Rick Thornberry...
Not surprised with Heath's loss either. The lopsided focus on belt winning rather than a progressive career path have cost him IMO - some of the guys he's won belts from have been absolute jokes!
Smut, or anyone, see Tim Hunt's bout? Fought an opponent with a terrible record who he's beaten easily before, but just wondered if he looked sharp - BoxRec tells me Hunt won by stoppage. Saw Hunt's early bouts and thought he had a bit to offer - very nice jab in particular.
Fraid not CHB, best try Flame when regains consciousness. If he wasn't out trolling for fresh **** he would have been out the fights for sure
Good night at the fights. Tim Hunt looked sharp against Jean Claude who should be close to hanging them up. Blake Capparello and Joel Casey went to war with Caparello landing some huge lefts to take a unanimous points decision. It took Maxwell a few rounds to get going but he landed a huge shot on Heaths nose which disoriented him and then landed a huge left which almost knocked Heath cold and was waved off immediately. It was shaping to be a great fight but Maxwell's power was overwhelming.
Marcus.. I don't know diddly squat about your mate Maxwell, but fingers are crossed that upcoming bouts are held in Tassie to give the locals something to see.
The guy i spar has sparred him but said he isnt that skilled. I guess he just has some great punching power.
That's part Union Jack ( No welsh in that ) and a Scot's Lion Rampant . Sometimes i wonder what actually went on down there mate and sometimes i feel best to be ignorant . :good No Offence mean't there Marcus either .
The poms sent over crooks, when the crooks did there time they were given some land. End of story. Thats the quick version.
