you really believe those "official" ages and birthdays that the boxers come up with? I have it on good authority that Hopkins was actually 61 when he fought Kovalev, and Joe Louis was 76 years old when he fought Marciano :bart
And you looked exposed Wilder. But then, if Wilder were to admit he was in some way then it'd best the "American's best heavyweight hope" bubble so I can see why he's gone back to trash talking
Ali retired at 37, returned at 39 to get pummeled by Holmes Holmes retired 3-days after turning 37, came back at 38 to get pummeled by Tyson. Tyson retired at 38 after several years of decline. Louis retired at 35 and only came back because he owed money to the IRS. Lewis last fought at 37. Frazier was 32 when he first retired and came back for a single fight at 37. Wladimir is now 39-years old and assuming he beats Fury in the fall, he'll most likely be 40 by fight night against Wilder (or anyone else). There are only TWO Champions I can think of who have this kind of longivity in boxing. And, both of them retired and then came back (which Wlad has not done). Vitali and Foreman. Wlad's run has been incredible. If he can finish it off with a win against Fury and then one more against Wilder/Joshua, etc.... it would go down as the best run in the history of the heavyweight division, imo. He would end with 25-straight wins spanning from 2004 to 2016.
Wlad may be getting old but Wilder just sucks. He should shut his pie hole. Only hardcore nuthuggers are still clinging to the idea that Wilder will ever be anything more than a manufactured fraud.
