Today was supposed to be a great night for boxing with Wilder vs Povetkin clash. The only clash we were really looking forward to. Unfortunately it didn't happen and everything boxing-related this months was a dissapointment too. We saw Canelo smashing a welterweight and then vacating the belt to duck the only guy who the fans wanted to see him fight. Haye and Briggs fought in pathetic mismatches and try to sell us their fight which no one gives a damn about. Floyd Mayweather wants to fight a 0-0 MMA brawler. How long are we going to take this, watching one pathetic mismatch after another? Why do boxing fans pay for this garbage? Why does David Haye earn that much money for such a **** fight?
Parker vs Takam was a good match. Sets up a Joshua vs Parker showdown in the future. Looking forward to that.
