May 21st Full lineup and opponents (sort of) announced

A decent opponent for Gavin would have helped.... but I'm not going to cry over it and refuse to buy it.

American TV are far worse, putting any old shite on PPV because GBP think it's a good fight.

 

For 55 bucks, I can take a family of 4 to a decent restaurant for dinner and beer or buy a new release XBOX 360 game.
What can you do for 15 quid?

 

Tbh what i seen of U.S PPV's i'm happy with that card Rob. I'm happy to pay £15 for this card on May 21st.

It's all well and good having names on the bill but half time i seen some pish PPV'S from across the pond.

Our National title means something and there's don't really.

And any card that HBO/Showtime/ESPN don't want gets put on PPV cos its the only way the promoters can make any money out of it. So the likes of Holyfield and Adamek fighting bums are PPV regulars in the States. Bizarre.

The Aussies have a weird system. Pretty much every US fight is picked up, but they are all PPV at $30 or $50. I'm no expert on the exhange rate over there, but it can't be cheap. And any time one of their fighters is in a remotely competitive fight it goes on PPV. Here is their site.

I could argue that this is not as good as the Katsidis vs Mitchell card.

Although I will say Degale vs Groves makes it just that better for me.
