Yeah, mendy would take the fight. That could act as some kind of eliminator for the British. The only thing I would say is that is like to have seen him closer to the middle weight limit. Decent showing though, and his opponent touched the canvas from a strong jab. I thought smith looked thoughfull but also using his jab to much better effect, even hooking off the jab.
