May 2nd should be Floyd Mayweather, Jr vs Danny Garcia

    I am a big Danny Garcia fan, being a fellow Puerto Rican myself, but the only fight I want to see Floyd Mayweather in is against Manny Pacquiao. Not Khan, not Cotto, not Alexander, not Golovkin, not Garcia. Only Pacquiao. Nothing else is acceptable. Nothing else will do. I don't care if Danny is undefeated. I don't care if Cotto has the lineal middleweight title. I don't care if Golovkin is a bad mother F#@$%r. Only fight I want to see is Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao. Anything else is a waste of time.

    I feel Bradley is a much better fighter than Garcia. Garcia did well to beat Khan and fair enough I thought he did just beat Matthysse but he was very lucky Matthysse suffered that eye injury, I think that may have swayed the outcome.

    Garcia lost to Herrera for me as well and his style is tailor made for Mayweather.

    Hearns has never fought at 160 b4 Marvin

    etcetcetcetcetcetcetc. Floyd has never fought at 154 b4 he fought Oscar, if Oscar had beaten Floyd it would have been huge.

    This fight will be huge.

    What does Floyd say? He fights guys at their "best weight".

    At 147 Floyd would get zero credit. Fair or not it is the truth. You are letting Floyds nuts block your view.

    You really don't know anything about boxing. Fighters move up all the time, ala Hearns/Hagler.

    Doesn't take anything away from the fight. Still one of Hagler's biggest wins.

    This will be one of Floyd's biggest wins. :hi:

    Floyd is the lineal champ at 147 and 154

    I think whats more likely to happen is Garcia will lose, to floyd then disappear down the WW rankings, as the better boxers D Alexander / bradley etc will probably beat him, and the larger WW's (brook porter, maidana, Thurman even) will beat him. FMjs win over Garcia would therefore be looked at similar to Ortiz (who was highly ranked opponent at the time of the fight, though obviously not with hindsight)
