Urango is a LWW and a limited smaller man. I dont see how this is high risk. High risk is fighting an actual WW, collazo, mosley...... Berto is just going to outbox him like hatton did.

At one time, Cotto was a jr welterweight. He beat Quintana, Judah, and Mosley at welter.

Urango will be a tough fight for Berto. I promise you, it won't be as lopsided as most think.

I respect most peoples' opinions on this forum...so we'll have to wait and see with this fight. You must remember, this isn't "2 pound" he's fighting...Juan Urango can crack.

Just remember my posts the day after the fight. I'm not saying that Berto will lose this fight, but it's not going to be easy...he might even get knocked down in this one.

Ricky was boxing beautifully during the first 6 rounds of that fight...he looked very impressive until he was hurt with a body shot in the 7th.

for the rest of the fight, Hatton stunk out the joint with his best John Ruiz impression.

I don't really understand why everyone is discounting Juan Urango in this one.

Berto was dropped in the 6th round by Cosme Rivera...if he's caught with a similar punch by Juan, Berto is going to be in serious trouble.

this is not an easy one at all. Urano has 5 times the power of Collazo, plus Urango wants to move up. doesnt he look just to big at 140 anyways??

even if you dont like him, you can't deny his "never give up" warrior like mentality

not to mention the toughest victory dance in the sport...

    [YT]QXZyqBygnjk[/YT]

    but seriouzly......back to Berto

i'm not hyped about this fight but, Urango hits hard enough, and is physically strong enough to really test that chin, not to mention he's tough enough to test his heart

Collazo's certainly a world class fighter, and good in his own right but.....he's featherfisted, as was Forbes, so his last 2 fights and most notable wins were against pillowfists, this fight brings an answer to the questions marks over Berto's chin, i think this is a good choice for his camp

and as for the Berto outboxing him thing.....Berto is not a boxer, he's a puncher, he has little to no boxing abillity as he showed in the Collazo fight, he uses his handspeed and pop to pressure fighters till they fold or get outpointed

in this fight, Urango will not fold, and Urango though slow, his tough as nails and will find Berto's chin....especially since Berto fights in spurts, though those spurts are very explosive, they're still just spurts, basically, he lingers on the inside too much, i predict this fight to be a war, bet money on it, also Berto's chin will be put to the test, pass or fail

Urango's no WW but still......shouldn't right the guy off like that, Hatton's no can ya know? plus have we forgetten that Urango's a southpaw, like Collazo who gave him all that hell, but yeah, when this fight goes through, i think it will be better then people expect
