    without a doubt the biggest boxing event this country has held for a while! im not saying that there has not been better all round cards than this but the whole event itself and the worldwide press its getting its amazing! 80000 people in one stadium will be immense! this goes to show that eddie hearn can and more than likely will be a major player in world boxing in years to come! hopefully he can get a good partnership with golden boy AND top rank, which does look like happening! then make huge fights/events more and more often!

    Froch -Grovesv2 80,000 people it doesn't get any better than that. For boxing that is unbelievable.It is going to be shown worldwide, evryone is looking forward to it. And proves that Froch's claim that he is 'international boxing superstar' is 100% TRUE, some people made a joke of him saying that but it's the TRUTH.

    It's a good event im going myself but it's a 1 off.
    Eddie will never be a major player in world boxing and TBF I dont think he is trying to be anyway. He will make deals with the Americans for the occasional title shot for kids such as the Brook against Porter but that's about it - he will have nothing else to offer.

    When daddy retires let's see what happen. I doubt Eddie will be able to run himself never mind be a world player in boxing.

    Does it matter if Eddie remains domestic? Franks not a major player in world boxing either anymore and he is doing ok

    Like his work or hate him, he's getting a lot of British fighters world title fights. He's building boxing in cities which never usually get big shows and going there on a regular basis building big followings.

    He must be doing something right.
