Why is it that we still don't have any announcements for the May 4th card yet?...almost 10 weeks away... Neither Mayweather or Canelo have announced their opponents. What the ****? Anyone know when we're likely to learn who they're fighting? Will Broner be on the undercard?
Good call. This. Probably if I had a gun to my head and had to guess what it will look like: Mayweather/Guerrero, Alvarez/Angulo, Broner/anybody probably a top 10-15 guy, who knows about fight #4. Mares' debut at 126 or a solid Maidana matchup would complete a star studded card. Maybe Deontay Wilder exposure if the first three big names cost too much for a solid fourth fight? I'm hoping for a big undercard. Also, I obviously hope Alvarez vs. Trout happens, but I have to doubt that will be the case and Angulo would seem the next realistic "easier" opponent.
I suspect that in reality the main event fighters are all lined up.The issue,I believe,is which TV network will broadcast this event.It's a battle of the David(Showtime) vs Goliath(HBO),and David is being very agressive.
