    Ok so there has been 4 articles in boxing insider pertaining to
    a tba event to held on may 5 2012 (cinco d mayo) in 3 of the 4
    articles floyd mayweather was mentioned as a headliner and in two of 3
    he was mentioned in pac was mentioned as the probable opponent
    but this months issue says that although $may is still
    extremely
    likely as one of the slated headliner's his opponent being the pac man
    is
    highly unlikely the article goes on to mention that over 12 million
    $ers
    has already been spent in the last 6 months to secure the date but
    says nothing els about the actual event main event under card ect ect.

    So my ?'s r

    1. Will he fight on said date (floyd)

    2. Who will he fight

    3. If not $may who will they have fight to save there investment.



    On a side note imho king kahn is out of the ? If not 4 n e other
    reason then there is way more $ to be made overseas 4 that bout.

    Why is floyd always milking the mexican holidays? Why can't he fight on 4th of july instead? He would probably only sell 200 k ppvs if it weren't for the mexican fiestas

    I meant Martinez vs Maywather, Canelo vs Mayweather, and Pac vs Mayweather:bart

    And yes, I'd rather see Canelo than Ortiz, Berto, Hatton etc etc etc.

    i could see floyd fighting canelo on 5 de mayo. the hype in mexico would be unreal. i think floyd sees canelo as still green and very beatable, if he keeps the fight at a distance. this would also jive with the prediction i made on a thread about who would be the one most likely to take floyds 0.

    yea i think berto destroyes cinomon on the inside via uppercuts and left/right combos cuming out of the clinches

    very e z stoppage 4 berto imho (at this point)

    May 5th, Mayweather-Alvarez. The entire Southwest would be held in rapture for that fight. Add in an undercard that will probably have Angulo, Morales, and perhaps Abner Mares on it. It will probably bust the all-time marker in viewers of a boxing event in Mexico.
