You know - its sad when rich people get away with crimes cause they bring money ...
vs Judah - Mayweathers corner jumps into ring DURING match - auto DQ - didnt happen,
vs Oritz- Hit on the break - fighter cant continue - auto DQ - didnt happen

This is yet another reason why boxing isnt great ...

excited. Plenty of good fights. More than likely it will be Manny Pac. I can't see how he can get away with not fighting him this time with out looking stupid.

Failing Manny, theres plenty of optiions - Khan - Berto - Martinez - Alvarez - Bradley - Cotto/Marg Winner.

Boxing is **** hot right now

I want Pacquiao, and there is a good 6 months to get that bout sorted. But the one good thing about there being limited opponents in and around Mayweather's weightclass, is, there is actually only a handful (if that) of people Mayweather can face and sell. A couple of those are interesting/watchable bouts. I don't expect Khan, Roach didn't think he was ready with Pacquiao in 2009, I'm pretty sure he knows Khan isn't ready if Pacquiao wasn't ready to pull the gameplan off.

Mayweather Khan is Markatable. As is Martinez. Cotto Margo might be if either of them looks impressive. Mayweather Alvarez will be huge.

But I hope its Pac, but either way, these are all exciting

pac or martinez - I dont even want Khan or Canelo, i think they are still too green for Mayweather and he would win a shutout.

Khan-Mayweather is marketable. but Khan just isn't ready. I think Khan is being told to keep talking about Mayweather to hype himself up, and sell his own fights. Khan's first fight at 147lbs will not be against Mayweather. I'd put money on that.

Cotto is always marketable, even more so against Mayweather...that's an interesting bout that I'd still like to see.
Margarito...from a selling point is not great, after being destroyed by Pacquiao. But if he beats Cotto impressively.

Alvarez would be huge, but he again is not ready...and I would say it is highly unlikely...especially considering how slowly they are bringing him along. If he still needs to progress and learn by being put in with opponents like Gomez, they will not throw him in against Mayweather.

Who knows who Mayweather has in mind, the fact that there is a good 7 months to get the ideal opponent is always good. They have come right out and said they want Pacquiao, that's interesting...and hopefully it comes off.

IMO If that bout again doesn't happen, Cotto or Martinez are good/great replacements.

    Yes I agree.

I just think normally when negotiating, you show that your not fussed anout the fight, so you an get the most money out of it. Floyd saying there aiming for Manny for me is just so when the fight doesn't happen, they can say they tried to make it happen but they couldn't agree terms.

I'd prefer he says he's not fussed to the media, than saying they're aiming for it.

  15. This a very unusually positive post for ESB. For that I congradulate.
However, he will not fight Pacquiao. This mush is clear.
I also don't think he has the balls to take on Khan either.
