    Afternoon all.

Please help me im in a bit of a pickle, Myself my old man my cousin and my uncle were looking to book up to go to vegas for May3rd untill the 10th and go to the boxing on the 5th, However mayweather is most likley not fighting that day, but do you think boxing will still happen on the 5th? even if it is not mayweather? I have heard rumours about pacman taking over that date with another fighter but dont know how true this is???

I just want to book asap so the flights and that dont increase in price coz atm i have found flights and hotel for 1 week at 600 quid? and 2 weeks ago they were 545 quid? so in the space of that time its gone up 55 quid!

any advice help would be greatfull as i got a bonus this month and have enough to put a deposit down on the flight hotel package

what would you do in my situation i really want to go for the boxing out there and would be disapointed to book up and there be no boxing at all, as thats why im going, i dont drink or anything so would have a few bets in the casino and sight see. but boxing at the MGM would be icing on the cake!!!

    whats ypour thoughts!

replies asap as i will go and book it before i finish work!

    cheers

    G

So far Mayweather hasnt announced whether he will or wont be fighting on that date, although it is rumoured Pacquiao might be planning to steal it. its way too early to tell yet who is going to be fighting on that date if anyone so youll either have to wait or risk it

From what Ive heard, even if there aint no boxing, you won't regret going Vegas. But that's just from what I've heard from other ppl experiences of Vegas, ie. 'the best time of their life'

For that reason, I have added a Vegas to my bucket list.

Would imagine even without Mayweather there will be a stacked Golden Boy Mexican card on that date at the MGM. If not it could be in LA and that is accessable.

Don't worry about the price mate, I usually book 2/3 months before i.e. when a fight is actually announced and the prices are still £600 for an alright hotel on the strip.

Ok chaps cheers for your advice keep it coming!!!

Ideally id like to await an official announcment like i said i dont care whos fighting aslong as there is some boxing on the night but dont want to pay the money and get there and find the card has been taken off that date, as i want to make it a good week sight seeing/boxing etc

for 600 quid i can get a hotel room at circus circus plus my flights for a week. including transfers etc

    cheers for your comments!

it's quite far from the strip, well a taxi ride anyway

look at prices for MGM, Excalibre, Tropicana, Hooters, New York New York, Mandalay Bay. That sort of area

probably 15 mins in a taxi, maybe 10. i just it easier staying on the trip, and after a morning afternoon walking about shopping and that u can walk back to hotel for a rest rather than **** about in Taxi's.

I stayed at Excalibre and it was pretty decent and for a good price aswell. Tropicana is cheap aswell but not as nice.
