May could be British boxing's month of redemption

I reckon in order of likelihood I'd have Khan beating Peterson (by a dubious decision), Ola beating Huck, Groves beating Stieglitz and then Froch to beat Bute. All possible, but I can see every single one of those fights having an element of poor judging/home cooking.

I'm really looking forward to Huck Afolabi. I reckon that could be a corker, and Khan Peterson should be another good fight. I reckon Froch Bute could be a bit of a damb squib, but I hope I'm wrong and Groves Stieglitz is a bit tainted by the fact that if George wins, and Carl loses, then we would have a SMW World champ, who wouldn't even be able to pretend he was the best in the country.

 

Groves and afolabi will both lose on points.

Khan to box smart this time around and get the decision.

Froch/bute will be very close I reckon Froch may just get his hand raised but it'll be controversial.

And tbf Carl's volcano excuse was just about as ridiculous as any of Khan's.

I'm pulling for all of them and any combination is really possible from 4 losses to 4 wins. Ola and Groves are up against it probably trying to get a decision in Germany and I think Froch will probably be outclassed again against Bute. I keep going back and forth on Khan-Peterson but AK UD is what I'm going for.

Used to be a fan of Khan, but his constant boring moans and excuses have done my head in.

Was gonna go a few days earlier, the volcano delayed his flight over there IIRC and he started to think fight was off. Says he mentally lost his edge and focus.

Silly to think fight was off, if he genuinely believe that then more fool him but it would have a affect on your mentality that week no doubts. Did it lose him fight?. Nope..

I support British fighters for two reasons Its good for the sport in this country and as you see them coming up more on the domestic scene you become more interested in them and their career.
