Livingston is dragging up heavy left hooks from down by the hip but can't generate any speed. Arias is getting in several licks in the span of Livingston hauling in one to either miss or get blocked. The best success for Livingston is with his overhand right buried occasionally into Arias' neck while Arias is executing a combination leaving a hole in his defense with all fists abandoning their posts. Arias is still much busier, finding the target more consistently, and with more thudding blows...especially the penetrating right uppercut. Livingston is gamely trying to battle free but spends much of his time on the ropes, not by choice.

Round 5

Livingston is resting his chin on Arias' shoulder and drumming uppercuts into his chest, but they're arm punches with the power originating no further back than his socket. Arias is working in varied combination to the body, mixing straight rights down the middle and left hooks around the side with some uppercuts where he can find room for them. Livingston gets his arms wrapped around Arias', pinning them while still tapping his sides.

Round 6

Livingston is pushing out jabs from outside, but his betrayed intentions and lack of speed conspire to bring him nowhere close. Arias, tired and with sloppier movement and looser defensive stance, is still able to avoid being touched on the outside. Livingston mugs his way in and scrubs a left up on Arias' mouth, landing more with the underside of his wrist than his knuckles but smarting a bit with Arias wincing as he lolls back to roll with it. Arias leans back to slip jabs and Livingston drapes himself over him walking forward. The ref says "no no no" and splits the resultant clinch. Combos by Arias dancing to his left. Livingston is sweeping out high wide left hooks and missing, following with equally ill-fated rights and seeking but not finding the body.

Livingston tried his absolute best. They are simply differently talented.
