Personally, the big thing about the Broner Maidana fight that really irked me was the clowning by Broner, and his ridiculous rear pump he pulled. It was hard to not completely celebrate him getting worked over in that fight after that trash. No place for that in the ring in my view. Just no class, and he deserved to have Marcos give him that in return later in the fight as well as the drinks being thrown on him as he walked out. Maidana was giving him a good go of it from the opening bell, and instead of acknowledging that and meeting the challenge (like a champion should) he tried to use his outside the ring bravado as if it meant anything in there at that moment. It was immature and I hope he learned from it. Bravado and trash outside the ring is one thing, inside the ring (if you look at history) fans don't take too kindly to lack of class inside the boxing ring. We'll take some showmanship, but only a little bit and in the right context. Just IMO. For all of Floyd's mistakes outside the ring, inside the ring, he has conducted himself like a champion.
